The Power of True Belief

The Wright Brothers
Invented and built the world's first successful airplane against the skeptics in the European aviation community and the anti-Wright brothers press stance which called them bluffers. Through belief and hard work their legacy still stands as the first people to ever fly. That’s true belief.

"Crystallize your goals. Make a plan for achieving them and set yourself a deadline. Then, with supreme confidence, determination and disregard for obstacles and other people's criticisms, carry out your plan." ~ Paul J. Meyer
A black and white glass negative taken from the original papers of the Wright brothers scanned at high resolution was used. Technical and creative retouching was applied manually then over-painted and colored to create the final look.
Isaac Newton
Believed that our Earth has an invisible force able to act over vast distances, led to him being criticized for introducing the "occult" into science. The question was not just whether gravity existed, but whether it extended so far from Earth that it could also be the force holding the moon to its orbit. Against the odds, He believed in himself and in his work an proved it mathematically against the skepticism of his peers. That’s true belief.

"The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a man's determination." ~ Tommy Lasorda

Over 100 overlapping layers of photographed elements, textures, vector paths and digital painting were combined to create the final look.
Ludwig van Beethoven
Later in his life, Beethoven became almost totally deaf with a "ringing" in his ears that made it hard for him to perceive and appreciate music and that alone could have ruined his creative career, but against all odds it did not prevent him from composing music and his masterpiece "The Ninth Symphony". That’s true belief.

"You've done it before and you can do it now. See the positive possibilities. Redirect the substantial energy of your frustration and turn it into positive, effective, unstoppable determination." ~ Ralph Marston
